Making Data Entry More Efficient - Feature Request

I love Flexicontent and am using this on my site www.feastguru.com which offers listings of various categories of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs in Bombay, India. As we upload thousands of listings, I thought we would suggest a few changes to the process of adding new items.

Currently, to add a new item, there are a few steps which take a long time. First, we choose the "type" and then "apply". This gives us all the fields. After, we fill the fields, then we upload the image. As soon as the image is placed, the system uploads the image. The problem is that if you have multiple images, this could take a long time as the step of uploading is repeated. After, the image(s) is uploaded then one has to "Save & New". The current process is repeated multiple times and this becomes very slow.

Suggested changes in the process:
1. If the "type" can be chosen first so that all the fields of the type appear at the first time.

2. The default value of the status is "Published" and not "Draft".

3. Images are not automatically uploaded individually but only during "apply", "save" or "save & new".

4. If a javascript feature for adding additional new images can be introduced.

you can turn off the automatic upload function
turn it off in the fields parameters
