field type "radio image" > display as selectbox with images?

Hi there,

can we make fields of type "radio image" display as selectbox?
I ask because having potentially 10-100 radio buttons on a backend page can look quite messy, but the feature in itself is great.
It seems that it is partially implemented (~"display as single value"?); Just the selectbox display the title (?), and my dream would be
selectbox with image as visible part, (and value as value)

That would be really awesome!

Sure: In this example (see screenshot) I made a responsive float-layout thingy (but it could be anyting of course). Works great, but makes the admin view messy because of the many radio buttons.
However it would be so cool to have only 5 dropdowns, showing one image-option at a time, each.
Hope that was understandable.

hello its possible but in native mode you need to dev with your own field or maybe is js script to convert it ... but not sure what is the best way
