Possibility to rename templates

Hello,
For now, if we want to rename a template, we have to do it with FTP by renaming the template folder. But when we do this, all template affectations (in categories or menu item) are lost and we have to reasign each of them. Worst, all fields placement (like in table row or renderonly row, etc.) are lost too. It's very annoying.

Is it possible to improve Flexicontent code by renaming templates without all these desagrement ?

Thank for your answer.

Regards.

Hello it Can be interesting but not sure that Can be possible without many works. I will check it

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,
We can already rename types and fields, so templates will be nice too.

One more thing : when we duplicate a template, it will be handy to conserve fields placement of the duplicated template.

Thank you very much for all your work.
