User account with password

Hello
I'm trying to allow visitors of my website to create there own account with a customisable registration form. I was trying to use the FC-field "user account via submit" but the new account is defined only with the e-mail, not the password. So I tried to define a new field in my form : a text-field with the prefixe <input type="password">. It's ok to define a new field like a password but it doesn't match with the user account.
Do you know how I can ask a new password in the registration form, that match with the user account password, please ?

currently the field does not allow entering a password
the password is auto-created and it is emailed to the user

it would need some little work to add this, as said currently there is no option for it
