Field "Related item" : display related fields in form ?

Yes, it's important for my project (database of books and collection form for my members). :)

Imagine you have a list of many books, but some of them are identicals, in the title.
For now, I have to add a suffix or a prefix to my title in order to recognize each of them in the list of related item field.
But it's not convenient, and the titles aren't corrects as they have a suffix or prefix and I don't want that.

With this enhancement, if we can view one or more additional fields related to the item (like image, authors, ISBN, ...) it will be very handy for the users.

It is just an example. Maybe there is many others applications to do with these enhancement. :)

Nice :)
I just want to display some text fields. Image should be nice too, but nevermind if we can't.

I don't understand all your message, too : what do you mean by "sponsor" ?

Hello

custom development can never be free
otherwise everybody here would have zero time for doing anything else

exception is only a very common need / request, that we know should add

PS: our relation field is very poweful already
and in next version it gets new advanced filter option for category view and for universal module
some sponsored the above

I will make a FAQ article describing the above

Thanks for your answers.

I don't know if this could be a common need/request, but it will be nice to enhance the relation field with this.
This way, it could be more powerful than already :)

I can pay for a custom development, but what about next release of FC if the custom won't be supported later ?
