Hi
In Alpha Index
is it possible to filter A-Z 1-9, missing a word that is the same at start for all in that category.
IE
category. has say 3 items
all start with Ford
Ford escort
Ford Fiesta
Ford Sierra
skipping the "Ford" word in settings. Alpha Index filters the E.F.S

This would be most usefull
thanks

Hello

i think i see what you mean

Currently the alpha index is not design to ignore a "common start" e.g. 'Ford'

so you can not do this

i recommend to use a field for ford word and put fiesta in title field
after you can display 2 field in same line

Hello

the way that you could do it is like this

- create a select field with value A,B,C,D, etc
- in item form select the letter you want
- configure the field to be filterable and in field filtering configuration select it to be radio , or checkboxes
- create a filtering module to display the filter or display it as category filter (will appear inside component)
- optionally use CSS targeting the CSS classes of the filter to change its appearance
