Hello,
i have a little issue with mod_flexifilter when the site is open through mobile device.
When no filter is applyed screen looks like: mobile_filter1.png
When filter is applyed screen looks like: mobile_filter2.png
As you can see thete is absolutely no way user can understand that any filter has been applyed as there is no difference on the screen because the results are shown under the filter.
Even if user scroll all the way down he must do scrolling down and up every single time he apply a filter or decide to add another filter whitch is very inconvinient and annoying.
On a desktop screen there is no problem with that as the filter is always on the left and the results are always on the right of the filter module.
But on mobile device the filter is always on top and the results are always under the end of the filter modul and in order an user to see the results he always must scroll down and then up (if he decides to add another filter).

Is there any way when site is open through a mobile device the mod_flexifilter to be closed by default and after user open it and apply a filter mod_flexifiler to auto close again (probably on page reload) so the user actually can see the results of his filtering on the same screen without the need to scroll down all the time.

For example:
1. User open the site through mobile phone and will see the collapsed filter on top of the screen - pic 1
2. User open the filter, pick an option and apply it - pic 2
3. User see the result as the filter is auto collapsed - pic 3

Hello

indeed it should start as collapsed, and only a counter

like this

"Search - 2 active filters"

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,
yes indeed or even better if any filters are been applyed - a inline button "Search - Clear all 2 active filters". So you can perform instant clearing without the need to open the filter and scroll all the way down until you reach the buttons: "Search" and "Clear".
Another good thing is to have an option to choose to have the buttons: "Search" and "Clear" up, down or both. As it is now they are always on the bottom of the filter mod and you must go down every the time you want to clear or search.

And one more thing that is very important and handy.
As this is the most important module to find any content this module must have an option to float on the screen when site is open from mobile device, so it is always available for the mobile site user.

Are those 3 things possible to be implemented in next release ?

and i agree it will be commonly useful for all sites that use the filtering module

most time will be try to think a nice layout of it

So layout should be ?

Search header with counter of filters (+button with pencil or other icon + button to clear filters(without opening the slider) )

any pictures of how the above line(s) should look like ?

Hello,

For mobile phone (mobile devices) - mod_flexifilter
1. Added Option to be collapsed (wnen page is loaded)
2. Added Option to be floating on top or bottom of mobile screen (to be always on the screen even when you scroll up ot down)

For desktop / Laptop - mod_flexifilter
1. Added Option to be floatind (to be always on the screen even when you scroll up ot down)

VERY IMPORTANT for desktop / laptop - mod_flexifilter
As it is now When a user select filter option no action is triggered unless he click someware randomly on the page - if he knows that he must do that in order the selected by him filter to go into action.
On top right corner of each filter option windows must be a button "Search" or "Apply" - pic 5, so users have no problem with filter modul experience

Pictures of how line(s) should look like - For mobile phone (mobile devices) - mod_flexifilter
Pic 1 - layout on web page open
Pic2 - layout when you open the filter
Pic3 - layout when user select one or more filter options
Pic4 - layout when user have applyed already his chosen filters (after search button have been clicked on.

Do you think this is possible ?
