Hi,
i want built a event-calendar with flexicontent. The user can set multiple dates in frontend.
Is there a way to unpublish events automatically after the last date?
Or is there a way to set a field with unpublish-date in frontend?
Thx and regards, Florian

Hello

you can do it via our plugin event
onAfterSaveItem

- the dates of the field will be examined
- and the latest of them will be used to set:
publish_down property
of the item

it is 1 hour work for me to provide such a plugin (write it and test it)
... the way to do the above is to duplicate plugin

plugins/flexicontent/flexinotify/flexinotify.php
as
plugins/flexicontent/mypublications/mypublications.php

and customize the event

Hi ggppdk,

sorry, I dont understand your answer.

Is this plugin somewhere available and i can install it?
Or do I have to instruct you specifically? What does this cost?

Thx and regards.

Just to make clear what you suggest
you have a date field with multiple values
and you would like the latest of all date values to be set as publish_down date ?
correct ?

Hi,

yes and no ;) .

I need a event calender. I have two different items there.

1. Events single day or longer events like a seasonal art exhibition. They have only a start and end-date
2. Events on one day but for more weeks. For example "every monday happy hour in pub ..."

First problem: After the dates the items should automatically published down
Second problem: I have to sort the items in category view by beginn of the event. For long events the start date is over and a current one should be displayed (I hope you now what i mean  )

Thx and regards,
Florian
