Hi!
This is very common task - display items depending on tags of current item view.

For example, we open page of Mercedes car. This item have tags: Fast, Comfort, Business.
We need to display in module all items, that have same tags.

How I can do this?

I found some settings for tags, but they are very poor, I can only choose or disable specific tags:

Did you test with custom field scop ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Ok, I think I should use only numbers.
So, I set category and tags fields

But module is empty...

Hello

yes description of parameters says to use field ids

About items not appear
the matched items should have
- all categories of current item (or more)
- all tags of current item (or more)

It does not work.
Here simple test.

I set tags field in Custom field scope:

and module is empty.

Then I made same, but using Item scope setting with related items (common tags):

And now module successfully displays all items with same tags.

Conclusion: Custom field scope filtering does not work.

Hello

yes, i forgot this
it works but it only works for "non-core" fields

It works for "Custom fields" that are using table:
flexicontent_field_values

so yes it will not work for tags or for categories !!!

We need to update our description of the module
to make the above more clear

e.g.
"Custom field scope"
should be:
"Custom field scope (non-CORE fields)"

[EDIT]
done i have changed the language string here and in a few other places to make this more clear and consistent
e.g.
in fields management we use "User fields" instead of "Custom fields" term
so changed it to be "Custom (non-CORE) fields" instead of "User fields"

Hello

please read my above message
and use the Custom field scope only for "non-CORE" fields

for CORE fields we have other scopes
- we have
tags scope
related items scope
category scope
