[SOLVED] Category view using a selected type only

Hello,
I noticed this topic has been raised on several occasions over the years and as far as I can tell, the only way to display a listing of articles in a category with a selected type is to enable filtering by type and add it to the locked filters in the menu items. However this is still not an adequate solution because if you turn pagination on, all articles in the category will be counted but only those belonging to the selected type will be displayed. This causes inconsistencies, uneven numbers of articles on each page, counters displaying incorrect values, etc. Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks,
Agata

Hello

The pagination will respect current filtering, do you have such a menu item that shows this behaviour of pagination ?

only if you navigate away from the menu item, only then you may see different pagination

Hello

the effect seems to be due to your custom FLEXIcontent template,
you can test with FLEXIcontent template "default" you can see that pagination is correct

Right, sorry, I still had some leftover code in my template that was filtering out one content type and in the menu item was using field name instead of ID and thought it was correctly configured. It works.
Thanks,
Agata
