Hello,

in Joomla without FC there are a batch function and a drag`n drop function for categories in the backend category-list. With FC I miss both functions in the category-list. Is there a config option for this in FC or there are not these both functions in FC generally?

Edit: If these functions not exist, it`s not really important, I can also export the categories from mysql to edit.

hello
you can disable flexicontent plugin system to disable redirection to flexicontent administration and use joomla batch

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

yes, but disabling System - Flexisystem, core functions disables also the additional categories of the items and the category-selector in Frontend in this time.

For organizing of categories I use now a officecalc table and import it in mysql directly. For many categories this is the better solution for me to manage them.

Thank you for your recommendation.

Hello

inside flexi-system plugin configuration, you can allow access to the Joomla category manager for super admins
but do not use
- any batch action that modifies the category parameters
- and do not edit / save categories

only actions like re-ordering, and "re-build" button, etc

Hello,

ok, I found this option.

When I`ve finished the most organisation of catogries, I will use this possibility for a fast reordering of single categories. thanks.
