Is it possible to ad a new Microdata type in select list of item type?
For example, we want to use "article", but list is only including "newsarticle".

Hello

is this common ?
do you have a reference (url) to the microdata SCHEMA that include this type ?
should we add more cases besides 'article' ?

microdatas are a new issue for me ...
schema.org/Article
We have some articles without news, for example advicer, guides, workshops ...

Would it not be easier to implement an option to add/remove own schemas on list? Or are there some other changes in template/type for each schema?

'Article' itemtype is the parent of the itemtypes
NewsArticle
Report
ScholarlyArticle
SocialMediaPosting
TechArticle

we need to update our itemtype selector to include 'Article' and other from schema.org
and / or add a text field writting this manually

Google supports all types

but I think we have added only types that google supports rich snipsets ?
developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/

Full hierachy is this:
schema.org/docs/full.html

maybe we should add all ?

- with v3.0.12,
you can use it in the TYPE or ITEM configuration

it has (?) all item -TYPES- of shema.org

- the change is in TYPE configuration and in ITEM form,
the item -PROPERTIES- in field configuration have not changed
