Hello everyone, I am making a directory, and I was thinking in a way to distinguish level user items in category view by putting a watermark in their items, but flexicontents configuration allows only watermarks in all user images perhaps it´s acces or group level.

What i did was make another field with the same image and override the original one with the watermark image, and put the other one in a different template for item view and specify that item view in item parameters for every single item. But as you can see that is a lot of work and could be a little bit messy.

I would like to know if it is possible to specify watermark per item or maybe with css, or if you guys could give me a better solution than the one I came with.

Thanks for your support! great component!

Hello

you mean that the author of the item, will be able to upload an image and use it as watermark ?

Effectively the image field will allow 2 images per value
- 1 the "original" image itself
- 1 the watermark image to be used for thumbnailing the "original" image

Hello

Maybe this is simpler solution, and will work well
- Add configuration to the image/gallery field to use another image field for watermarking

Thus implementation is this add a parameter to image/ gallery field

Name: "Custom watermarking Field"

Description:
- You can select another image field to use it for watermarking
NOTE: this field must be single value and be in DB-mode re-usable mode
NOTE: the field must be displayed be assigned to same content types, and position it in item form close to this field
Thus the content item author, will upload and RE-USE his/her choice of images for watermarking

Yes that is exactly what I want but...

Sorry, I don´t know how to add that custom water marking field parameter, is that some configuration I must make or is it a tab parameter?

Thanks for your great support ggppdk!

Hello

I opened this one to add the parameter and usage of another field

but this will not be in v3.0.9, instead in the version after it
