Vector Icons & Automatic Type Addition to categories

Hello!

I have 2 more requests. I'll put these together.

Are there any plans of giving us the option to use vector icons like Font Awesome's icons to replace the "outdated" icon images in Flexicontent? I have changed this for my website manually now but it would be nice to have this in a future release.) It really makes a clean and slick look :)

The manual adding of menu items to add content types and then linking it to categories seems a bit far fetched for an awesome content-minded cck like Flexicontent. Is it not possible in a future release to just link content types to categories (or maybe this is already the case, not sure) and then in a Category you would automatically be able to add the Content Type that is assigned to that category? I have a category called "Entertainment" where I have the categories "Movies" and "TV Shows". It would be nice to link the Content Type "Movie" to the category Movies and "TV Show" to TV Shows and have an Add button with a drop down list to select either "Movie" or "TV Show" to add in Entertainment as both content types are linked to categories in that category. Do you know what I mean?

Thanks for your time and effort!

hello for icon can you provide a screen ?
for auto assign type to categorie => it's already possible in type administration for backend
for front you can create a menu link with desire option and go to category administration and link edit button to your menu

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

You also could take a look at my custom Joomla administrator:

github.com/iamrobert/flexi - it updates FLEXIcontent look:

You can customize the URL:
www.flexicontent.org/forum/20-general-su...tom-url-filters.html
However not by language yet :(

The you can use either:
1. Micker's Module
github.com/micker/mod_flexiadmin

2. Askiart Quick Icons
github.com/asikart/quickicons

3. Main Joomla Menu
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...n/admin-menu-manager

to simplify admin area. The Client Template:
magazine.joomla.org/issues/issue-nov-201...-the-client-template

Here's mine for a bike site:

Thank you for your suggestions! However, I am not looking to do anything to the admin style-wise. I am only suggesting having an option of changing the image icons into Font Awesome Vector icons so that Flexicontent is up to date with the latest icon craze (so many websites use Vector icons nowadays). I have included images for comparison. I'm using Bootstrap 3 for the buttons but the icons could be used on the old Bootstrap version too of course (even though maybe it's time to updated to the latest Bootstrap version?). My theme is primary but it could be set to default too of course.

Also, for the adding of Content types… Yes, you can manually add a menu item to a category, but I'm looking for automated ways of doing things. For example, now I have to dig through my categories to a certain category where I can press "Add" and it adds that specific content type. I would like to be able to have all the content types that are linked to subcategories on the parent category view so that it's easier to add content without having to manually look for the correct subcategory. Cobalt has this function and I have added a screenshot of how they do it.
