Javascript added on head

I was using jch optimize and it seems that I found some problems with some inline javascript added by flexicontent. one looks related with select 2 and the favourites and the other is for loading translations for the search filters.

Could be other ways to add this so it won´t interact with JCH optimize?

Regarding this, another improvement would be not using @imports on the css ( www.stevesouders.com/blog/2009/0 ... se-import/ )

Hello

-- using a single level of @import does not create a performance problem, multiple nested @import will do but single level is ... recommended by microsoft too, lol (see below)

-- removing the @import makes easier to hit the 31 CSS limitation of IE8/IE9

-- it is valid CSS code that it is not misused / overused, and the "fix" will create other problem

we can discuss merging files into a big one in the future, or we can wait for IE8/IE9 to be replaced with newer IE versions :-) ,

about JCH optimize , i think you can exclude som CSS files right ?

You make a interesting point I didn´t know, I´ll take that into account :)

JCH optimize is being used now to solve the problems identified by pagespeed, so it´s not about excluding, but that the free JCH won´t be able to concat and zip files on the import

But it´s not a big deal

What about the javascript?

Hello

in v2.2.0 we make great improvements in PHP execution/server load,

but of course load times to the user side, also depend on page size, and this effects the very first time page opens,

in v2.2.0 we load jQuery via google URL (in J2.5 and in J3 with the joomla framework call, if that loads jQuery via ...), for the rest of our CSS JS, these are mostly small anyway but surely several files (e.g. a FC field may have its own CSS JS files),

we will see to improve this is a later version !

about JCH optimize it maybe worth buying it if commercial version works properly

Regards
