Read Only fields in module

Similar to the READ ONLY placeholder in the templates would be nice to have this feature in the modules.

I don't need to explain how important this feature is :)

Hello

yes, if creating custom placement inside you custom module template

Now you are using function getFieldDisplay() : ??
(it is described at the end of this FAQ article)

How to manually render/display fields inside templates ... and Upgrading custom Templates to work in v1.5.6+
