ID or/and CLASS to admin lists

Hello,
sometimes I want to hide something in the ADMIN via CSS it is very hard.

Please consider adding to, this a tags an ID or a CLASS:
For example I want to hide in admin the AUTHORS Column but I can't withou an ID.

Also this must be done before we have a COLUMN CHOOSE plugin

what about set of checkboxes to toggle columns ON-OFF ?

That is what I wanted to do.

Such columns like author and created sometimes they are not important so we can store in a cookie the active columns so the user can select witch columns to choose.

you are hiding columns
inside user browser via JS
or
at server when page is created via PHP ?

To start JS and with a cookie. But would be nice to hide them via server by session.

at some point we will add code make columns be togglable via JS , and set a cookie to remember when page is reloaded
