I would like to add and prefix and suffix to the pagination fields. Like "‹" and "›"

Hello,
FLEXIcontent overrides (extends with custom code) some Classes of Joomla like:
- JDispatcher
- JPagination

so we do override pagination, but trying to override the pages link creation function will break SH404SEF support ...

I was not clear I want it in the PREVIOUS and NEXT items, the pagination plugin, are we talking about the same?

i misunderstood you i thought you spoke of pagination in frontend content listings like category, tags, favorites etc views

Yes for pagination field we can do this, please open an issue in here:

i will accept it and change it to "enhancement"
