Grouping elements in selectmultiple field

Hello,

I am not sure this could be nice and easy to implement.
In selectmultiple field, we can add Value separator for frontend views , like space, line break, etc.

Like value separator, I want to add Group separator.

for example, selectmultiple frontend view:

Carpet
Wood Flooring
Tile Flooring
Gas Kitchen
System Kitchen
Counter Kitchen

I want it to be shown like below:

- Flooring -
Carpet
Wood Flooring
Tile Flooring
- Facility - Kitchen -
Gas Kitchen
System Kitchen
Counter Kitchen

Maybe we can separate them by adding some thing like
FCGrouping::Group name%% 1::Carpet%% 2::Wood Flooring%% 3::Tile Flooring%% FCGrouping::Group name%% 4::Gas Kitchen%% 5::System Kitchen%% 6::Counter Kitchen

Regards,
Brandon

Hello,
i have noticed of this some days ago, but not just for frontend , this should also appear also inside the select field:
Code:
<select> <optgroup label="Flooring"> <option value="1">Carpet</option> <option value="2">Wood Flooring</option> <option value="3">Tile Flooring</option> </optgroup> <optgroup label="Facility - Kitchen "> <option value="4">Gas Kitchen</option> <option value="5">System Kitchen</option> <option value="6">Counter Kitchen</option> </optgroup> </select>
