Hello,
i am using extendedweblink and would suggest to have a new feature that will extend the class CSS option that is already exist :

exemple : you can submit different link : website, download, facebook, twitter...
and choose a class to apply a different icon on the links... for now all the link will have the same class...

That parameter could be specified in the backend of the field... extending the class CSS default parameter and alowing putting a list that will be converted in dropdown list in the form ???

What do you thing of that ?
hope my request is clear

aaa yes,

a drop-down list of styling is certainly more user-friendly, because it will make it usable by users with less knowledge , even more user friendly to site administrator too

this can be done with a single new parameter:
ccs_class1::friendly_name1 %% ccs_class2::friendly_name2 %% ccs_class3::friendly_name3 %% ccs_class4::friendly_name4

Right?

Ok,
Indeed this will give more value to the field, and i like it too.

will add this for v2.0.3 (i think not in v2.0.2 despite being trivial to implement, it is a bit to late to add this to v2.0.2)

Here is the enhancement issue 568

Added in r1687, you can grab latest extendedweblink.php and extendedweblink.xml from SVN and use them in v2.0.2+

flexicontent.googlecode.com/svn- ... eblink.php

flexicontent.googlecode.com/svn- ... eblink.xml
