Limitating number of creating/publishing articles 09-13-2023

Displaying maximum number and current number of articles in my itemview would be great!!

What about limitation for each TYPE?

Let's say that I want to apply 5 maximum to TYPE A, 10 to TYPE B and unlimited to TYPE C..

Instead of applying limitation to each author, maybe it is better to apply limitation by TYPE.

In Author Backend Parameters:
Author Limitation: YES/NO
Select TYPE: TYPE A
Maximum number of articles limitation: 10
Select TYPE: TYPE B
Maximum number of articles limitation: 5

To apply unlimited for TYPE C then we don't need to apply it. Simply we can give Create permission for TYPE C.

all these are good ideas for subscription sites
but before doing this, we should:

-- Copy the author limitations (of course these will not be removed) to user-group limitations, i mean create a backend view to manage limitations and other stuff for user-groups

If you really want to implement the per content type limitations (if very important to you) maybe i could suggest something but it will need coding from part

I agree with you and wait till you implement user-group limitation.

Would you please tell me which file I have to edit to achieve limitation for TYPE?
Instead of giving max number for each TYPE, I will try to assign TYPEs so not-assigned TYPE will be ignored from limitation and will be applied as normal ACL rules.

Please consider for:

1.Content Limitation for each Author by Type
A Type - Can publish, Needs to limit
B Type - Can publish, No Limit

Display maximum number and current number of items for Type(if limit is applied)

I wanted to ask.  Were all these features finished?

When I go to the FLEXIContent Users Section, there is an option that says "Maximum # of content".

Does that mean there is a limit to how many articles the user can publish?

Also, how would you get this to work?  Is there a section under Submit Articles that can limit how many articles a user can publish ?

I am confused by this.  Please help me understand how to get this to work.

is simply if you set 1 user can create only one item (not publication is on creation)
