Creation of various Access Levels for Type

Yes, that would work. However, when I create a user group and in the field deny access to the user group, it can be still edited and published by that group.

I did not mean the access Level of the field, this is for item viewing !

I meant, adding a new ACL permission called "Edit Field Value",

this has been in plans for months as it is mainly useful for subscription-like sites that editing fields depend on the usergroup

-- the thing is that now FLEXIcontent core is 100% ready to support it easily, because the implementation is same like "form-hidden" field !!!, so we only need to add the ACL permission

Yes, wanted to add this for quite some time,

and i think it is little to medium work to add these
-- Edit Field Value
-- Associate any item (translations)

about 3-4 hours including
- implementing,
- testing 2 versions,
- adding update code (DB changes) during installation,
- and language stuff

That would be awesome! It will make it better and better and better and better ........

and ACL permission
-- "Associate any item (translations)"
is important for sites which different authors right translations of same item
