Would be great to have a "Duplicate item" button in the frontend editor.

dulpicate the same item or save and new item ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Just duplicate, maybe a field to give it a new name initially, like "Save As"

mmm, we have already added AJAX state selector (publish/unpublish/draft/pending etc) to frontend item view.

Save as new button in the frontend it form would be useful too:
