FILE field needs "custom tag" as Field separator [solved]

If there is no good reason why the FILE field dosn't have the custom tag option in the Field separator (frontend), I would like to make this a feature request.

With the current given options it is not possible to form a list from file fields.

The names/description of parameters are confusing, i will clear them up, like this:


Prefix text of every value
description="This text is placed immediately before every field value

Postfix text of every value
description=This text is placed immediately after every field value

For SEPARATOR the Use a custom tag will become
use "Convert open/close texts to separator" ...


Opening text for Field
description=This IS ALWAYS applied once at the start of the field. It is meant to create the start of the field HTML, but above you can choose to place it as OPENING text of the values too. BUT AVOID IT !!! use prefix text of values instead.

Closing text for Field
description=This IS ALWAYS applied once at the end of the field. It is meant to create the end of the field HTML, but above you can choose to place it as CLOSING text of the values too. BUT AVOID IT !!! use postfix text of values instead.

Thanks for clarification but there is no "Prefix text" in the File Field, only "Opening tag".

But I still dont get it ... what is the difference between those two if they are both there in some fields?
