Duplicate plugin was created by igcorreia

This sounds impossible but maybe you guys can help me.

Similar to templates I imagine the possibility of duplication the FIELD, what I mean is the actual files in the /plugins/flexicontent_fields/

For example I would like to have the SITE LINK plugin but with a different design and I don't want to lose the Default one. The idea would be to duplicate the plugin and then change does new files.
What you guys think?

This way we can create cool things without messing up the CORE ones.

actualy you can do it with hand !

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have only one problem then,
some plugins have multiple files right?

By duplicating the files FC will know that a news plugin exists?

Despite being possible to duplicate and rename plugin's files by examining the XML file of the plugin, it is not feasible duplicate plugins like we duplicate templates, because we can not update filed name references and file references inside the source code in a fail-proof way.
