We have strugling with clients becouse of the front end submission, the problem is just that we dont want to give them acess to the backend becouse there is just to many features and toogles that the client had to learn.

By using front end submision we simplify so much the process and we even dont have to give the client documantation of how to use it becouse is easy but there 2 things that we need.

1 - A list table with all the articles similiar the items in the backend
2 - The order field in the front end. in the fron end the users cannot control the order of the articles.

we have tried the component MYFLEXYCONTENT but it does not work.

PLease consider thanks.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

The problem is that we have set an order as ORDER so this means the backend order correct?

The client in the fronend cannot change the order becouse they dont have the ARROWs for up and bottom.

There is a new FLEXIcontent menu item called "my item" , you can use this to display a list of item of the user(author).

You want to declare an initial display order in this?
or you want to user to be able to reorder items?

My item shows the items as it is supose that is perfect not the user wants something like this:

menuitem: my item
cateogry: events
order: today I want item 445, 446 and 447 but next week I want 447,445,446

Now waht I mean? like using the order in the backend

mmm, we don't have these in the frontend.

FLEXIcontent with FLEXIaccess can limit the view of the backend to just articles the user owns

PLEASE NOTE, i am not developer of FLEXIaccess, but i use it
