[planned] Date range filtering in category view

PLease consider add the DATE RANGE from the flexi modules in the category view.

for example:
category : events
type of content: event
artile: joomla event day germany
date custom field: from date
date custom field: to date

I only want to show present and future events(articles)
based on a CUSTOM date.

So I only want to show events UNTIL the TO DATE

This in for the moodule and the category view.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


the same will apply to for example a JOBS cateogry, i dont want to shoe jobs from more then 2 months old.

The ability to filter category views with ranges will enhance usability.

This can be done for fields that can support it, also we have a task to create a number field -or- extended existing text field to declare its value as number (it is not the same to enter a number as text when sorting or comparing what is bigger)

You can 'star' the follow enhancement issues to be notified of news:

I have this on high priority, but no guarantee when this will be implemented.

Wow this is great I also need this, some times we don't want to show articles with more than 20 days.

Something like this would be great.

Maybe you can use universal module with date scope you can do this
after load this in basic article

The module works I find a way to do it.

this is how I made date range with flexi module

from: -15d
to: 0

with this trick I can show only NEWS from the last 15 days to today, how cool is that?

But I am asking for the possibility to do this in the template.

for an event time of site I don't want to show past events. show events with more that 15 days after day finish.this kind of power in the category view would be great.
