[SOLVED] PC IE8 & IE7 Frontend - add item duplicate content was created by scorpion_pt
On a PC using ie7 or ie8 adding content using frontend results in duplication of the content item in the database.
Sometimes we get duplicated system messages too.
No problem with FF.

Someone has this problem too?

Server:

Apache/2.2.8
PHP 5.2.4
Mysql 5.0.51
Joomla! 1.5.18
FLEXIcontent version 1.5.3c stable (r354)

it's in bug tracker be patient

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

[SOLVED]

Go to components/com_flexicontent/views/items/tmpl
and open form.php.

search:
Code:
<button type="submit" class="button" onclick="return submitbutton('save')">

replace with:
Code:
<button type="button" class="button" onclick="return submitbutton('save')">

SAVE

and IE double posting solved at last :lol:
