Video Shared Field and Vimeo video does not work

Hi I am new to the forum. thanks for the great flexiContent extension!

I have an unknown error which occurs when I want to embed a Vimeo link via the shared video field. In principle the field works with YouTube links but it doesn't with Vimeo.

I use:
Fresh installation of Joomla_3.4.8-Stable-Full_Package with flexicontent-cck-3.0.9-rc6c

The behavior is like the following: I paste the Vimeo link in to the URL field and fetching doesn't work. When I save the item that contains the shared video field, no error is displayed after saving.
While accessing the item in the frontend no embedded Vimeo video player is visible. In contrast a YouTube Video player would be displayed.

Any ideas how to solve the issue?

hello we update a lot this plugin to mix it but to use it you need and embed.ly account (free)

I do understand that youtube, vimeo, dailymotion should be supported by a native API, or am I wrong? At least thats what the description of the embedding method says. (see attached file)
I thought the big video site my be natively supported by flexicontent...

For now I will use an embed.ly account. Thats fine.

My remaining question is, will it be possible to embed Vimeo without embed.ly in the future?

i retested it works, maybe you used wrong vimeo link ?

It must be like:
vimeo.com/.../nnnnnnnn

also you have v3.0.10-RC2e ? and not v3.0.9-rc6c, right ?
