[SOLVED] Sh404FEF - in case of not found URLs, the home page is shown, instead of the configured 404 not found page

Hi Georges,
I have just installed FLEXIcontent v3.0 Beta7g on the beta6c as i have strange behavior with sh404 (again .
- If i try anything in the url line to get a wrong url, the 404 page from sh404 is not shown : i have the homepage unstead.
- many urls are wrong in sh404 (same page shown : i have the front page...) : sh404 find 2 urls : the one with com content and the other one with com flexicontent as duplicate url. If i switch to the com flexicontent url as the good one, i have no more this issue but sh404 always choose the com content before.
- if i show a list of article in category, i have the same problem, corrected in the same way.

Note that i use 2 templates for the site : one with a main zone for articles and one without a main zone for articles (for the home page) : is the 404 page article in "uncategorised" category have to be in another category to work ?

EDIT : if i paste the non sef url in the url line of my browser, i'm redirect to the "article" 404 (as this not an error, the article is well shown). This is the routing system i think...

Found a solution !
Assign the 404 page in a menu (hidden one).
In SH404 configuration, the defauld itemid is 0 for the error page : i change to put the 404 error itemid (in my case, it was 369) : works perfectly !
That was not a FC issue but a simple adjustment for sh404
Note : in some case, in category view, some links have the same issue (when you click on the link to see the item, you have an error). In this case, even if that's not convenient, you can do the same thing to resolve this.

General > By Component : Check that all your component are not set in the first column on Use Joomla! Router
