ABOUT YOUR issue, i think it occurs because of the way FLEXIcontent tries to load a language file that does not exist, test by switching your backend to English. We have fixed it in r1167 for fields but i cannot be sure it is not some other code that loads another language file,

so for testing this please put temporarily the following code BEFORE the line that gives the error:

in file libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php

if (!is_object($this)) {
echo "<pre>";
debug_print_backtrace();
echo "</pre>";
exit;
}

and try to access FLEXIcontent

This must be language file loading related error, we have fixed, we will have RC4=final soon.
