FC 1.5.6 imagefield - creating thumbs ... Bug?

Hi,

currently I am testing a lot .. FC 1.5.6beta (r890)
well, in this version there is new setting possible in the imagefield params
List All Media Files
which have probably already missed by many users .. i think
so thanks for your work
but when I upload images using the File Manager
and choose one of those in the select box (existing files) for the imagefield no thumbs are created as with direct upload of an picture

... i do not know whether it is a bug ...
but that would be really nice
if this would work

Yes thumbnails are not created when you select an existing image file, since the thumbnails are supposed to exist already.

How were the images uploaded?

i've already thought of what you say

if I want to upload many pictures at once
i'm using the FC File Manager option "Add file(s) from server" after I upload them via FTP in the tmp folder
... it's very practical for a lot of pictures
sometimes i use the add file field Plugin

would it be possible
to make a kind of check, whether the files are images
and if so
start always the routine to create thumbnails :

For futur a multiple image field is needed
