bug in image field creating a record even with no image was created by grabit

Hi,

I am using the 1.5.5 r607 version on Joomla 1.5.23.

When I create a new item but I don't upload an image on this item, an empty record is created in the DB with a blank value for the filename.

The problem appears in the blog view where the layout tries to add s_, m_, or l_ to the filename and then doesn't find m_.jpg (or the other) in the images folder and displays the not found icon instead.

In older version when there was no image in one item the image record was not created. That was the right behavior i think.

Hello, it happens with all fields.
I made a fix, not to insert value, i ll test a little more.

As far as i have seen all field (and some third-party check of no value), so the should introduce no problems ...

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
