Where do the modules and plugins go?

First, Thank you Emmanuel. That was exactly what I was wondering. I'll leave it at that for now. Second, are you referring to the trigger content plug-ins in field specific properties? If so that did not work for me as I have tried it several times with the social bookmarking plug-ins that I have installed. However, thank you both for taking the time to look into it. I appreciate the help very much.
