Hello,

I have a problem with the rendering of a jdoc:include.
I use a custom flexicontent template named "custom-cs" to display articles.

I'm trying to include a module in my item.php (/templates/cs-template/html/com_flexicontent/templates/custom-cs/item.php) like this :
Code:
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="position-5" />

Its not in a condition. The position load works if i put this in the index.php but not in my item.php.

When i explore the code rendered, i see
Code:
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="position-5" /></jdoc:include>
as if it wasnt considered as a statement.

Maybe you can help me? :)

Thank you

more simple create a load module field => you can add this in position simply

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

FLEXIcontent "templates", have 2 layouts:
- the "item" (=single item)
- the "category" (=item listing)

they are not meant to render Joomla modules positions,
- instead they are meant to be the content displayed at the "component area" of yout Joomla template

as micker said you can use display modules by using the FLEXIcontent field "Load module / module position" (fcloadmodule)
it can display
- either a specific module
- or a module position (all the modules of the position)
