Hi, exactly this part stopped working for me, after an upgrade to currently 3.0.14-rc2a
The read more in the footer isn't called anymore.

Hello

@horsey

- can you edit the module, check that the "Module read more" parameter is enabled and then save the module once ?
- are you using a custom module template ?

- also could the module readmore be hidden via CSS ?
if you go to the bottom of the module, and using firefox/firebug or similar and examine the HTML , is the readmore there:
Code:
<span class="fc_block cat_readon_box" > <span class="cat_readon" > ... </span> </span>

It's a custom template from v 2.
I re-saved it several times, didn't help, I think some parameter is missing.
If I switch to the news template it works.

hello

i don't know how old your template is,

the readmore now is per category

At the end of your custom module template add (if not already there):
Code:
<?php // Display readon of module include(JPATH_SITE.'/modules/mod_flexicontent/tmpl_common/readon.php'); ?>

Thanks, I've found it, the footer/header.php files were missing in the modules directory...
