Hide Item core field values in a Category menu Item ?

Hi

I have created a Directory and Category menu item...

Even though I have not selected any Core fields in the Category template they still show under the Items Title in the Category listing...

So I have gone back to basics to try and solve the problem...

eg:

I have created a copy of the Presentation template and linked it to an Item type that I have created...

I have not assigned any Core field values or User fields in the Presentation Category template it is completely blank...

I have created Categories and Sub Categories and linked different instances of my Item type to them...

I have created menu links to a Single Category and also a Directory...

With a Presentation Category template with no values added I still get showing the following values at Item level...

I get the Item Tittle...
Creation Date
Author
Voting
Favorites
Categories
Tags
Read More...

All I want showing at this point in the Category or Directory listing at the lowest level is the Title of my Item...

I may have missed the obvious but I have checked FAQ's and the Forum but found no solution....

How do I stop the Core field values showing at Item level in a Category or Directory Menu...

simply go to your type administration !

Hi

You can edit some of the Core field labels in Type administration but it does not offer the facility to turn off Core fields

I have now selected the Default template and applied it to all my items...

I have selected no fields in either the Item layout or the Category layout both templates are blank...

I have created a new Directory menu link...

I select a Category ...

With a blank Default Category template with no values added I still get the following values showing at Item level...

Item Tittle...
Creation Date
Author
Voting
Favorites
Categories
Tags
Read More..

I have tested again by adding all Core fields and User fields to the Default Category layout template and I get the same result...

I have tested the Default Item template with all Core fields and User fields added and it works fine...

I have tested many different combinations of settings... either I am missing something or there is a problem with the Category layout template...

I still can not find a solution...

I am using version FLEXIContent - 2.1.3 - r1824 from the nightly build download page...

Should I reinstall stable version FLEXIContent CCK v2.1.2 1806 ?
