about customizing item form

As i understand, the content types don't adress fully all the fields of the input form.
by exemple how can suppress the "description" label at the right of the editor ?
In the basic tab how can i suppress the secondary category choice if i don't need ?
My goal is to have the most simple input form for users not at ease with it.

am i clear ?

you can see the available customizations for FRONTEND item form at component settings, which you can override per content type

about suppressing label you can use a CSS rule,

- for disallowing multiple category assignment to items, goto component setting and at permission TAB, deny the relevant permission for the desired usergroups

ok for multiple categorie it's work; it's a pity that we have to change the css to change the others things because the next update, it will be gone..
