Column in Category was created by dekkera

I would like to make category with sub-categories that are displayed in columns on the page
What would be the best way to make this?

I use Flexicontent version 2.01 (r1659)
with Joomla 2.5.11

hello
at first update to 2.0.2

and try directory template categorie
duplicate it in flexicontent template administration
and modify it
post you work step by step

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
