[solved]image field

Created image field
assigned to template default/category
imagefield is shown.

1.)how does the image field automatically routs to its item?

doesn't work.

2.)I have 2 different blog templates assigned to 2 different menus.
i have only one option for blog templates and one for itemlayouts(S,M,L)

how to code into template:

imagefield-> link to item + image size Medium for example

You want to use the image field manually in your templates?

i mean select a thumbnail and use it and at the same time link it to the item?

i dont understand clearly so try again

1.)image size:
there are 3 image sizes S,M,L
i need one category-blog layout with S
another category-blog layout with M

2.)image fields in these above layouts are thumbs that should link to items
automatically

i need to know, how to change this per php in templates/default/category items.php

mmm, do not add the image field to the template positions,

instead, you can select an image, in each category in the parameters (for blog template) at bottom of the category edit form

is the solution for me to implement

image field+ linked to its item+with different size (than blog config.)

additionally i have to mention

put image field into" render only"- position of table-(default/category) template
