[solved]Using J1.5 FC templates, in FC for J2.5

Hello everyone!

FC version 2.0.0 RC9 (r1514)
Joomla 2.5.7

in item view (Edit item)the tab "Layout Configuration for : ***templatename*** doesnt open for detailed configuration.

These templates worked in joomla 1.5.26 without problems.

cleaned cache etc. after moving to folder

btw.: default,blog,presentation,faq...work fine

The xml files need to be updated to a new format (new XML tag names) see an xml file from an existing template for J2.5 FC version

Are there other changes to take care of generally
for upgrading Template 1.5 to 2.5?

-- For *.xml files it is rather easy, just compare the files

-- For flexicontent standard templates no changes are needed for *.php files to be used in J2.5


but for your custom template
-- you might have mootools v1.1 Javascript code that needs upgrading to mootools v1.2.5+
-- you might have a few J1.5 specific function calls (added by you)

I edited the xml files.
cleaned cache
this made the templates avaiable.
