adding a text field between images

I have an items template with an image zone:
1 horizontal and then 2 verticals.
How do I add a text field between the horizontal and the
2 verticals so that the text field doesn't collapse?

I would like to add a text field between 1 and 2, and then 3 and 4, and then 4 and 5, etc.

You need an image zone for every image group followed by a text field. Plus you probably need to make your own template by copying one of the native FC templates and changing the code to your needs.
