Struggling with setup was created by leanneg

Hi

I have installed 1.5.4 today on a new site and i have
1. added a new menu item to 'Add a new post' + Assigned Parameter 'Type'
2. added a 'type' (ID2) and assigned Parameter 'Item Layout' template
3. imported categories
4. tried to add new fields, which appear to have been added to the database but do not appear under the 'fields' menu tab
5. created a new template based on the default. assigned fields to zones in the item layout and category layout

SO, the New post does not display the expected fields and the fields list does not show the custom fields i have added

ANY IDEAS ??? someone help please!

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Please ensure you do these:

1. Go to the new type "A" you have created and assign the new template "T" it.

2. Assign the fields to type "A"

3. Put fields in positions of template "T",

4. Create items of type "A"

then it should work.
