Template Blog Non-Editable

Hi Everyone !

It's impossible to see my new field just created.

I created a field "image".
And I can fill and see it on my form. But I cannot see it during the visualization.

Then I thought that I should add it on my template "blog" but "item view" is non-editable.

How can I do ? Thanks.

The template blog is a category view and ther is no item view in this template.

Here is a way to have an item view in your blog template

1. duplicate your blog template
2. Copy-paste these files in your template folder :
- components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.php
-components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.xml
- components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.png
3. You can now edit an item view for the blog template and assign it to a type of content.

- components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.php
-components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.xml
- components\com_flexicontent\templates\default\item.png
to
- components\com_flexicontent\templates\blog-1\item.php
-components\com_flexicontent\templates\blog-1\item.xml
- components\com_flexicontent\templates\blog-1\item.png
Now I can edit my item view. THANKS A LOT.

But

I try to edit my item view but I cannot pass my item left to right. How do you do that ?

May be a problem with Mootools

Disable the plugin : System - Mootools Upgrade
Clean Cache
Empty Expired cache

And try again...

Is it working with the category view?

Increadible, you're right. I've just Disabled the plugin : System - Mootools Upgrade

And I can put my fields on left to right.
