cannot unassign date fields

It's not possible to unpublish the core fields. When I try to unpublish the create field I get this advice: If you don't want to see them. Don't assign them to any groups in the field view.
When I do this and save the field all groups are selected again.
I found this thread www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... wtopic#p90 , but that seems to refer to an older version (I'm using 1.5.2) since this file: components/com_flexicontent/views/tmpl isn't there anymore.

So how do I hide the date fields in 1.5.2?

Hi,

Go to the Template Manager of Flexicontent and edit the item (or category) view.

Here you can drag and drop the fields you want (or not) to display.

I have to move them to the available fields part? I hadn't realized that. Simple enough though .
