[Enter as absolute] link an url to other website using from image-gallery field creates broken URLs

Hello,

I have a field image + link to url
i enter the url like that : othersite.com  
and it render an url :  musite.com/categorie/20-itemname/://www.othersite.com

and i have a blank page saying go home

did I miss something ?

Hello

Links to other website must be entered as absolute addresses
e.g.

https://someaddress_to_other_website.com
//someaddress_to_other_website.com

all other URLs are assumed to be relative

I assume to be an idiot : when verifying the adress I realised that there was a double :: in it
