Select2 JS used to improve drop-down selects, is not working well on mobile phones

We have a big issue with dropdown fields on mobile phones (not simulated by chrome, but on real mobile phones):
When trying to make a selection from a dropdown, the value shows up and disappears instantly, no allowing us to make a selection. When you tap on the dropdown a couple of times, sometimes it stays open. Is this a known bug and has been reported? Couldn't find anything...

Thanks

oh sorry forgot.
J 3.4.4
FC 3.0.8
Theme: warp 7 (yootheme)

I tried to add the uk-dropdown class and the data-uk-dropdown attribute, but could not find the right place to add. looked in plugins/flexicontent_fields/select/select.php
We don't have the mobile problem when using just a dropdown as per this page: getuikit.com/docs/dropdown.html

It could be related to this bug: github.com/select2/select2/issues/1541

thanks

Hello

yes in v3.0.9 we have updated select2 JS

- you can copy and use folder (rename old folder to select2_)
site/libraries/select2
to
component/com_flexicontent/libraries/select2

from this ZIP:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck...ag/v3.0.9-2015_10_12

CLICK ctrl-f5 or similar in the view to make sure latest JS is download or clear browser cache in mobile

I have followed your advice and replaced the select2 libraries and cleared all cache. The problem remains exactly the same. As soon as you tap on any dropdown, the keyboard comes up and the dropdown disappears immediately. Cannot make a selection at all.
Any other ideas? Can anyone else confirm this issue?

some help would really be appreciated as this basically makes the website unusable on mobile phones since we rely on dropdowns.
I checked the demos select2.github.io/examples.html
and they work just fine on my mobile.
Are you using the exact same libraries?

Also I noticed that it sort of works when you tap and hold the dropdowns long enough. but if you only tap quickly, they disappear instantly.
