FC 1.5.6 (r862) Select Item field plugin no longer works

this plugin has been very helpful and useful to me
and certainly also for others

but in the version 1.5.5 (r607) and > it no longer works, if several fields are turned respectively multiple fields are active

only if it is the only field
i can make a selection (the selectbox drops down)

does anyone know what's wrong?

That would be fantastic.
This feature is requested by all CCK users over and over.
Making it a part of the main trunk would make this plug-in/feature more prominent.

For a select item fields plugin I can recommend you to use this one :

I don't have the 1.5.6 installed but with curent flexicontent version it is working well. and for bonus you have the "reverse selected field" that is very usefull

Maybe it is possible to see with is author of it is possible to improve and make it part of the main trunk ?

Be able to force (fields parameter) the user to select from one type or from one or some categories can be a great improvement

Even if something requires little time, i can't the next 7 days or so. I have implemented an authors view for v1.5.6 it had more work than all several things requested in this forum and now i am really behind with my obligations.

I promise to check these, next week or a little later ...
