Yes beta because of new features, but has many bugfixes. If you don't use 3rd part flexicontent plugins, then you can probably use without problems, and can also go back to previous 1.5.5 and 1.5.4 versions. But better backup DB and files before updating.

Flexicontent fields = plugins ,

3rd party are the ones not included in flexicontent installation package. Aka you download and installed separately.

thank you, that mean i don't hava 3rd party becouse i download and install FLEXIcontent 1.5 stable - Full Package, and the lenguage spanish, i don't install anything else.

but my system is in production now, I can install this new version without changing the database or the joints already and settings?.

i 've made an important change just before releasing this beta so ,
you 'd better wait a while, or test on a local copy of the site.
