hi together!

i am trying to upload a bunch of jpgs via ftp for use with the minigallery plugin. ftp-upload is fine, but the file list behind the 'upload documnt'-button won't show the files.

what else do i have to do to make them visible?
(i tried both "medias/" and "secure/" folders)

thanks!
Kath

solved it:

1) upload files to /components/com_flexicontent/media
2) export db table _flexicontent_files as .sql
3) edit new file names into .sql-file*3)
4) (remove existing lines and) import new lines of the .sql-file

works fine, saves time :)

*3) to get the list of local file names under windows i used the free explorer extension 'CopyFilenames v3.1'

thanks for this solution

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

better solution, already integrated in flexicontent:

1) backend > menu 'flexicontent' > files > last tab ~'add files from server' (or similar) > voilà.

2) backend > ... > in your minigallery-field simply choose each file with one click.

silly me... :)
